We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange appointments
- provide feeding, sleep or related support
- keep a record of consultations, advice, plans and follow-up
- take and manage payments, bookings, invoices and administration
- send newsletters or marketing updates only where you have chosen to receive them
- understand website usage through analytics cookies only where consent has been given
- meet safeguarding, insurance, accounting and legal obligations where they apply
For some bookings delivered through a partner venue, we may receive booking details from that venue so the booking can be arranged and delivered.
We rely on different lawful bases depending on the activity. These include the initial steps taken when receiving a booking request, our legitimate interests in running and recording the service including but not limited to the creation of a contract, our legal obligations, and consent for optional marketing and analytics where required.
Where we process health information, we do so only where needed to provide the service and keep appropriate records, and we treat that information as confidential.
We do not use consultation, health, or child-related information for marketing audiences.
Who we may share information with
We only share information where it is relevant and justified. This may include:
- payment providers such as Wix Payments or SumUp for payment processing and related administration
- service providers who help us run the website, email, records and business systems, such as Wix, Google Workspace and Airtable
- your GP, Health Visitor or another professional involved in care where this is clinically relevant and only the minimum necessary information is shared
- safeguarding or public authorities where we are required or justified to share information to protect a child or vulnerable person
- professional advisers, insurers or regulators where reasonably necessary
Where appropriate, we will discuss routine care-related sharing with you. We may not do so first where that would increase risk or where immediate safeguarding or legal concerns apply.
Following the Bebe Nurture lone worker arrangement, Joe Bower may have access to the name, address and telephone number for home appointments only where needed for lone-worker support.
Jenny Bower undertakes clinical supervision. Information used for supervision is anonymised wherever possible.
How we store your personal information
We use a small number of core systems to run the service. These include Wix for the website, forms and some enquiry or booking administration, Google Workspace for email and documents, Airtable for structured operational and client records, secure local work-profile notes where needed, and Wix Payments or SumUp for payment administration. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may also collect website usage data.
We keep records only for as long as they are needed for the relevant purpose. As a guide:
- for sleep/IBCLC/massage consulting clients, adult and children's consultation records are usually kept for 8 years
- for previous Health Visiting clients (services are no longer provided to new customers), children's consultation records are usually kept until the child reaches 25. Adult or parent consultation records are usually kept for 8 years
- enquiries that do not become client records may be kept for up to 6 years for insurance and complaint-handling purposes
- payment and accounting records are kept for the period required by law or accounting rules
When retention periods end, data is securely deleted or removed from live systems.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
