Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

For customers seen at The Little Play Lounge we get your booking information directly from The Little Play Lounge. Your booking information may be shared with The Little Play Lounge but no information regarding your consultation is shared with them.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

We use the information that you have given us in order to arrange appointments and provide a service. Audits of services will be completed also.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are legal obligations and legitimate interests.
Everyone has an obligation to report any safeguarding concerns to the local authority. This referral will be discussed with you prior to being completed, except in the rare circumstance that informing you of the referral may increase the risk to you or your child.
Following a consultation a letter will be sent to you GP and/or Health Visitor if any clinically significant information is discussed at our appointment. This is to ensure your primary health care provider is aware of your/your child's medical needs and suitable following up can be arranged if needed.
Payments are taken and processed by Wix Payments and Sumup.
We may share this information with Meta for targeting marketing.
Following Bébé Nurture's lone worker policy Joe Bower would have access to the name, address and telephone number for any home appointments Jenny Bower undertakes.
Jenny Bower undertakes clinical supervision. All information shared during clinical supervision is anonymised.
How we store your personal information
A record is created after each consultation, they are stored within secure cloud facilities hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Primarily a record will be created for your child, however if parents share clinically significant information about their health or advice is given about their health a parental record will also be created.
Within the record information on significant history, who is presented during the appointments, topics discussed, advice given, plans agreed and referrals made is kept.
Children's records are kept for 25 years. Adult records are held for 8 years. Following this time your data will be securely deleted.
Payment and enquiry form information is stored within Wix.
Some records used for administration and marketing are kept in an encrypted cloud server.
Information from clients who do not have a clinical record will be retained for marketing. This information is deleted at client request or after 6 years.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
